Want to get off the beaten path and discover another side of the Dominican Republic?

We offer a 4km hike in the heart of an authentic natural environment, for a total immersion in the richness of Dominican nature.

 

At 9:00 AM, meet at Barbacoa (a neighborhood 10 minutes from Las Terrenas towards El Limon), the starting point for this approximately 1.5-hour hike.

​

We will hike through plains, verdant hills, and rainforest.

On the agenda:


- Discover Dominican flora and numerous endemic species
- Learn to recognize a wide variety of fruit trees

- Observe the region's bird species
- Meet the domestic animals of the Dominican countryside: cows, horses, goats, and other four-legged companions
- Stroll through lush and preserved vegetation
- Magnificent landscapes and many moments to capture
