Kento's culture and natural pool

Here's a 100% authentic excursion, completely off the beaten track, a perfect blend of culture, history, and nature.

Meet at 9:30 am with Kento, a Dominican who will show you "his private supermarket," as he calls it.

After a short walk along an easy path winding through nature, you'll arrive at Kento's vegetable garden.

He cultivates a wide variety of vegetables, fruits, and roots that are staples of the country's diet and culture.

You'll walk through a small forest of cacao trees, dwarf coconut palms, and banana trees.

You'll enjoy magnificent panoramic views of the surrounding nature. You'll learn about cassava and its importance on the island for centuries.

And depending on the season, you might even get to taste fruit picked straight from the trees.

After this discovery-filled tour, we'll walk to a completely natural pool with crystal-clear blue water for a well-deserved, refreshing break.

A snack featuring Dominican products will be offered, along with coconuts freshly cut by Kento. During this break, and for those who wish, we can also show you a small cave not far from the pool, as well as some historical remains.

The tour is scheduled to end around noon
