Whales

The Samana Peninsula has the chance and the honor to welcome in its bay every year from mid-January to mid-March the humpback whales or Jorobadas whales that come to give birth and reproduce. This bay is one of the best places in the world to observe these incredible mammals of about 10 meters and up to 60 tons.

Depending on their moods, the whales will offer you a magnificent show of jumps or even moving games and exchanges between mothers and their babies.

Your guide will be there to comment on the behavior of the whales and explain everything about these extraordinary animals.

Don't miss this rare spectacle a few meters from your boat.
